Saturday, March 24th 12-3pm Candice is an E-RYT with Yoga Alliance, as well as the director and founder of Nine Moons Prenatal Teacher Training programs. | Enhance your understanding of the pelvic floor in order to find true strength and stability through this under-appreciated area. Dysfunction of the pelvic floor can lead to incontinence, pain and prolapse, particularly after birth and as we age. Through understanding the intricate anatomy & physiology of the pelvic floor, uterus, bladder and pelvis, we can learn to isolate & both strengthen & relax the various muscles, leading to lasting health. Learn how to tailor the exercises for the needs of yourself and your students. This workshop is open to all women as well as yoga instructors and birth professionals. Qualifies for 3 hours continuing education with the Yoga Alliance. Send in name, email address & phone number to the studio either by mail or drop off. Cost is $35 paid in advance or $45 at the door. Tibetan Heart Yoga with Dorothy Compassion meditations are weaved into Asanas which are used to cultivate one of the six perfections:giving, kindness, patience, joyful effort, concentration and wisdom. This is a deep practice of beginning to relate with friends, enemies, and strangers with an ultimately compassionate mind.
